We are transitioning into solid Spring conditions on the Bighorn river and there has been endless opportunity’s for Big Rainbows and Browns. Sight fishing has been great off the islands and side channels.
The highly anticipated Baetis hatch appears to be just days away as water temperatures steadily climb, so be prepared for some exciting dry fly action very soon.

What’s on the menu
Sow bugs, midges, and scuds are what they are targeting right now. Subsurface fishing is the most productive. Have variety of colors and see what they are hitting. Streamer fishing has been on and off however they are picking off smaller leeches and bugger patterns.
